Update (24/12/2020): Requests are closed. We hope you all have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Please read the following carefully:
Voluntary Services Lewisham will be providing food hampers for families, older people and vulnerable adults, supermarket vouchers for families, toys and gift vouchers for children and teenagers as normal this year. We will not be able to hold a Christmas Day Lunch; instead together with the Lewisham and Catford Salvation Army’s we will be giving out a limited number of reheatable meals on Christmas Eve to those most in need.
Please complete our online forms to receive goods from the Christmas Project.
The location of the project will remain at the Lewisham Salvation Army, 4 Albion Way, Lewisham, SE13 6BT. We will notify you when you can come and collect your requested goods. The date will be between 2nd and 18th December, so please make sure someone is available to collect.
We are able to help in the ways listed below:
Hampers – We can provide Christmas Hampers to older or vulnerable individuals or couples.
Christmas Eve Meal Delivery – Together with the Lewisham and Catford Salvation Army’s we will be providing a Festive meal on Christmas Eve that we will deliver out. This will include the meal itself, tea/coffee, chocolate, Christmas cracker and Christmas card/Christmas quiz.
£15 Supermarket Vouchers – These are provided for families of all sizes.
Family Food Hampers – Families with five members or more will also be eligible for a family food hamper – which are collated by Kings Church. Families with less than five members who are particularly vulnerable will also be considered, but these will need to be discussed with a member of staff.
Children’s Toys – Children will be given a new toy & book and teenagers are given a £15 gift voucher (or appropriate gift).
We rely on you as referrers to identify your service users most in need of our help to ensure that the goods we have are distributed fairly.
