COVID-19 Response

Voluntary Service Lewisham’s normal services and projects are currently on hold due to COVID-19.
VSL, Lewisham Local, and Age UK Lewisham & Southwark are working with Lewisham Counciland all of our local partners in the community to coordinate our response so that we can help the most vulnerable in our communities.

We wish to thank the residents of Lewisham who gave their time to volunteer for us and continue to do so.

Currently we are looking for volunteers with a recent DBS (or we can arrange a check for you at no cost) who can spend 1 hour a week calling up to 3 people who are isolated and vulnerable for whatever reason. No prior experience is needed, but you should be a happy, sociable person who is comfortable in initiating a conversation and can be a window to the world for someone. Please fill in the application form and we will be in contact. If you have any questions, email us at

Welcome to VSL!
